About Service Line
External Audit
The external audit function audits the financial statements of our clients. In doing so, our professionals hold themselves to the highest standards of independence, professional objectivity, and technical excellence. Our approach is to understand a client’s business, the risks it faces, and its internal controls. Based on our understanding we assess the risk of material misstatement of the financial statements so that we design effective audit procedures. For public companies we will integrate the audit of internal control over financial reporting as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley Act with our audit of the financial statements. Our professionals bring a comprehensive methodology that leverages the firm’s extensive professional and technical resources to our clients’ financial reporting process, helping them meet the
growing demand for enhanced disclosure and accountability. External audit services through global and remote platforms includes:
1. Audits of financial statements including reviews of quarterly financial information
2. Internal control attestation (including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404)
3. Agreed-upon procedures
4. Technical accounting research and advisory services
5. Other Assurance Services

Job Purpose:To conduct external audit of our clients’ financial statements by understanding the client’s business, risks, internal controls and assess the risk of material misstatement of the financial statements so that we design effective audit procedures to give our audit opinion. These services may be through global or remote platforms.
Key Job Responsibilities:The Key job responsibilities include the following:
1. To develop an understanding of the Deloitte audit approach, methodology & tools.
2. To execute components of integrated audit through remote platform in an effective and efficient manner.
3. To perform audit steps, assist in designing the approach to audits and keep the audit senior informed about the status of the audit.
4.Demonstrate an basic understanding of the US GAAP and GAAS.
5. Developing and cultivating good relationships with US audit team in order to identify remote execution opportunities.
6.Assistance in setting up the remote execution and delivery mechanism.
7. Discuss all significant accounting, auditing and internal control issues identified during the audit with the audit senior.
8. Ensure that audit documentation is in compliance with quality control standards of the firm and as per GAAS requirements.
9. Be an effective team member.
10.Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
11.Identify performance improvement opportunities.
12.To be a effective team player.
13. Take active part in the training activities of the firm by being an active participant.
14. Take responsibility of the work allotted
