Job Description:Member of L&T’s Electrical & Electronics Operating Division (EBG) IT department’s Application Maintenance Team, responsible for one or more of the following activities: Level 3 Helpdesk - Application / System related: delivering Software Upgrades, Minor Enhancements, Application Maintenance - Custom Built Applications: SFA - ESP, SFA - C&A, SFA - MED etc. (ASP.net), CA Tool (PHP / mySQL), SET tool, DDPT, DMS, Ticketing (ASP.net), BLOG (PHP) etc. Ensures Infrastructure Delivery: System Monitoring - Servers, OS: Windows / Novell / Linux etc. Manages team for Backups and recovery: MS and non MS servers, DR/EC, Tape Library, Physical Operations of Server Farm Maintenance, Server Hardware: Installation, Diagnostics, Maintenance. Network Hardware, Installation, Diagnostics, Maintenance. Storage Hardware: Installation, Diagnostics, Maintenance. Desktop Hardware & Peripherals: Installation, Diagnostics, Maintenance. Other Hardware in Server / Communication Rooms: Access control, Air Conditioning, KVM, Power Conditioning, Backup Devices etc.
