Microsoft Global Delivery center India is an extension of the global Microsoft IT team developing mission critical enterprise applications that support Microsoft’s business worldwide. Since its inception in Oct 2002, GDCI has grown to deliver almost 50% of Microsoft internal IT applications requirements. Besides, it also manages Microsoft’s global data centers, corporate network, 8000+ Servers and various other infrastructure management activities from Hyderabad. The Network Operations Center located on the campus in Hyderabad is the backbone of the Microsoft IT team that monitors and supports global IT operations spanning over 300, 000 PCs, 2000 applications, and 89000 end-users in over 83 countries. The IT infrastructure of Microsoft supports in excess of 104, 000 email server accounts and traffic of over 3 million emails a day with 99.99% availability.
GDCI’s mission is to work on the next generation technologies based on pre-ready to manufacture (RTM) Microsoft products and technologies like VB.NET; C#.NET; ASP.NET; SQL Server; Yukon; XML web services; SOAP; and BizTalk Server and create applications to run Microsoft Businesses worldwide. Job Description:This Job is eligible for the following work arrangements :Flex Time
Primary ( Essential ) Technical Skills
Strong C# programming / SQLscripting skills
Strong in SDLC and Test Methodologies
Demonstrated skills in building automated test frameworks / automated test scripts using languages like C# ( Visual studio knowledge is advantageous)
Significant experience in leading small to medium test team
Experience in developing and maintaining test scripts, including functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and stress testing
Good exposure in test estimation, risk analysis and management
Exposure to build , maintain test environments
Experience in manual test execution and automated testing when applicable, working with customers to verify product functionality and validate acceptance
Experience in test case / test script walkthroughs
Experience in tracking Bug Reports using Bug tracking Tools
Good knowledge of SQL and UI testing tools
Sound knowledge on SQL language /server and RDBMS concepts.

Desirable Technical Skills
Experience in using automation tools, such as Win Runner, Load Runner, and Test Director
Basic quality and risk quantification & management skills
Basic project management skills
Broad expertise in areas of Windows client/server development environment, usability practices, Windows UI, design standards and solid software quality assurance practices
Familiarity with TSP/PSP process will be a advantageous

Self learner, intellectual horsepower.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
