Designation:Compensation Consultant
Job Description:- Work with Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM) Software such as Callidus, Centive, Oracle and Varicent to identify, develop, and implement client-specific compensation rules & automate the process of sales compensation plan design
- Assist in the development, testing, and administration of Incentive Compensation / Commission System including commission plans, employee status, territory and account assignment, crediting rules, rule writing, compensation targets, quotas, and payments.
- Work closely with clients to gather and document information about current sales organizations and variable compensation practices. Analyze and review client sales structures, processes, and policies related to applying sales credit and then calculating payments. Provide recommendations for process improvements where appropriate.
- Perform macro and micro analysis of compensation plans, programs, payments, and sales employee performance.
- Evaluate commission plans and processes and initiate changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs of administration.
- Act as a liaison between Client Sales, HR, IT, Legal and Finance regarding commission design and administration.
- Answer questions regarding commission plans and resolve issues regarding commission calculations and payments.
Desired Profile
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, MIS or similar degree and 2-4 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge of finance and variable compensation business processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with IT software development lifecycle methodologies and processes.
- Knowledge and experience in relational databases, SQL, Integration ETL, Datamart, and / or Actuate tools desirable.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, computer, pharmaceutical, or telecom industries preferred.
- Excellent skills in dealing with customers and internal organizations, analytics, negotiation and problem solving.
- Ability to work flexible hours in support of global customers.
- Service-oriented and effective at building positive relationships and resolving conflict.
- Knowledge, awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences and norms.
- Able to work effectively during periods of high pressure and tight deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, pro-active, and have absolute integrity.
