Job Description
1) Collect performance data from commercial compressor selection softwares (e.g.. Copeland, Danfoss and Bitzer)
2) Organize data base on application, refrigerant, compressor type, operating conditions etc
3) Create mathematical models describing compressor performance using the available performance data. (using ARI standards and tools like Statistica/ Excel)
4) Create and maintain a database for the developed compressor models and operating envelope (e.g.. MS Access, XML)
5) Generate software program which uses the developed compressor models in order to predict the performance. (C# application)
6) Work as a part of DSI/HTR team in developing the software design, refrigerant properties etc
Desired Candidate Profile
1) B.E/ B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
2) Good understanding of the principles of refrigeration systems
3) Experience in using MS Office
4) Experience in C# programming preferred
5) Good communication skills required

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
