Graphics Frontend Validation Engineer
Job Description:In this position, you will be part of the Front-end validation team under the Graphics H/W Engineering group which is responsible for the validation and proliferation of graphics cores which would eventually become part of Intel’s CPUs. You will be participating in activities related to Front-end validation of 3D and 2D graphics features in Intel’s next generation integrated graphics cores.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Developing test plan, test writing and simulation using ModelSim*
- Incorporating new methodologies like functional and/or event coverage
- Providing support to other validation teams including post-si team responsible for Pre-Si emulation
Qualifications:You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with coursework related to Digital Logic Design and Computer Architecture with zero to two years of experience in logic design and validation.
Additional qualifications include:- Solid exposure and experience with Verilog* and/or Very High Level Design Language (VHDL) and Perl scripting
- Exposure to ASIC validation concepts like test plan writing, functional coverage and others
- Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills
- Strong technical and excellent communication skills
- Experience with ASIC design tools such as Modelsim, VCS logic simulator, Specman, and others
- Exposure to graphics architecture and/or display technologies in previous employment would be an added advantage
